As I reflect on this past year of Immense Grace, I am overcome with a deep sense of gratitude for all the women who showed up. It brings me a deep appreciation for the dance of life and the unexpected treasures we find when we surrender and trust. This program was a transformational experience and one of embodied practice for me.
…While moving through the heavy energy of divorce, selling my home, lawyers, debt, and raising two small children, this program gave me the tools to create the energy I needed to stand in my truth and move with grace and ease through the turbulence.
The immersions within Immense Grace were so divinely aligned, and seemed to follow a pattern of meeting me exactly where I needed them to, almost as if the program itself was a living breathing system. My growth and transformation was in-sync with the practice each month, like a divine dance with the cosmos. A devotion to this practice and being in community with a group of spiritually-minded women brought out a light within me that created true joy, inspired action, and a sense of empowerment and determination.
A special gift that I had not anticipated, was that my young daughter would also play a profound part in this journey. Her light and our energy in co-creation was an important activation and blessing. My daughter was born blind, and our mother-daughter bond is quite sacred. She enjoys my company, so she often played alongside me while I practiced, and was my travel companion to Camp Grace destination mediation retreats. It was quickly revealed to me that, rather than being a hindrance to my yogic experience on these trips, she was a guiding light and inspiration, continually bringing me back into the present moment of wonder.
